About the role

We're looking for a self‑starter to build our team and processes from the ground up! As you build our team of assembly technicians, you will also be hands‑on in assembling the robotic system, ensuring a seamless integration of skills and project progression. If you're someone who thrives in both leadership roles and technical challenges, we'd love to hear from you! The working site is in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:

• Planning and monitoring of production processes on the US territory in cooperation with remote team based in Croatia
• Responsibility for taking over documentation from engineering, planning the way to perform work
• Monitoring problems in production processes and reporting them to engineering team in Zagreb, Croatia
• Responsibility for the success of the US based assembly team and the quality of services provided to the organization
• Lead & build a cohesive assembly team
• Participate in hiring processes and new team member training
• Actively participate in assembly of the mechanical and electrical components according to documentation and engineering inputs
• Testing and troubleshooting of electro/mechanical systems
• Providing feedback and updating in‑house technical documentation
• Performing other technical duties when needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly
• Working in close cooperation with electrical, mechanical and QA engineers, based in Zagreb, Croatia

Your area of expertise:

• High school or bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Extensive knowledge in assembly of the mechanical and electrical components
• Extensive knowledge in testing of electro/mechanical systems
