This position offers the opportunity to work on the design of a variety of transportation and site engineering projects.

• Hands-on involvement in the design process and project advancement including setting priorities and developing objectives.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
• Design opportunities will generally include:
• Highway and Roadway Plans, Specifications and Estimates
• Sewer Plans, Specifications and Estimates
• Project Permitting
• Project Reports
• Mentor Junior Engineers
• Professional society involvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
• Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design and standards.
• PE license in IL.
• Good communication skills and interaction with clients and internal team members is necessary.
• Proficiency with Micro Station/Open Roads required. Modeling with Open Roads is desired. Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D software is a plus.

• The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000. (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience and skill set, as well as internal and external equity.)
