Why You Will Love This RoleAssist with engineering development of promotional toy products—plastic, plush, paper—maintaining engineering documentation, prototypes, and samples.
- Provide engineering input to help deliver creative, safe, reliable, manufacturable products on time and within cost.
- Research and propose design solutions through sketches or prototypes during concept generation and pre‑production.
- Support client and licensor concept/model/pre‑production presentations.
- Develop specification packages to communicate and optimize product designs.
- Estimate concept costs to steer development toward cost targets.
- Participate in daily team meetings.
- Maintain all design engineering documentation, including concepts, approval forms, change forms, prototypes, and pre‑production samples.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of work experience (preferred).
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Experience with plastic toy development is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience with 3D printing and Fusion 360 is helpful.
Starting salary between $60,000 - $70,000.
