• Specialized capabilities in substation, renewables integration, HVDC/FACTS/STATCOM, datacenter integration, and BESS integration

• Lead or contribute to substation projects up to 765 kV in engineering detailed design and EPC.
• Develop protection and control design deliverables—protective relays, panel arrangements, single‑line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, relay panel wiring, and equipment wiring.
• Prepare physical design deliverables—yard layout, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, and auxiliary AC/DC power systems.
• Perform or oversee quality review of electrical substation design packages.
• Mentor junior team members and manage design budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders; present proposals and designs.
• Potential travel to client and vendor offices and project sites for design reviews, construction coordination, and field verification.
• Support business development or pursuit activities.

• Provide technical guidance on design guides, standards, systems, codes, and B&V policies.
• Apply B&V quality program to assigned tasks and ensure compliance.
• Prepare engineering deliverables, research equipment selection, manage data, and perform calculations.
• Independently manage budget, schedule, and quality for assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with internal and external team members on moderately complex projects.
• Assist with client interests and drivers on high‑voltage substation projects.
• Offer support to business development or pursuit activities.
• Mentor lower‑level professionals and identify successors.

• High‑voltage substation design experience (physical and/or protection & controls).
• Project lead and technical specialist experience overseeing utility substation clients and projects.
• QA/QC reviews.
• Experience coordinating and communicating with clients, multidisciplinary leads, and project managers.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• All applicants must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor‑vehicle records).

Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements in applicable U.S. states.
