Position: 2026 Summer Analyst, Construction (Related Midwest)

Program Overview

Our formal 10‑week internship programs provide students with the opportunity to work on critical projects integral to our team's success. Interns work alongside some of the best minds in Real Estate in an innovative, fast‑paced environment and are expected to approach tasks and projects with dedication and initiative.

Responsibilities

The Summer Analyst will provide necessary insight and input on construction schedule, cost and complexity. The construction team works alongside the project’s in‑house design, financial and development management team to manage costs, explore building system alternatives, coordinate zoning and permits, and oversee the project’s construction bid and contract process.

  • Review and summarize documents including partnership agreements, audits, and term sheets.
  • Compile market research to draw comparisons between different properties.
  • Participate in weekly meetings on current projects.
  • Assist in creation, execution and monitoring of project work plans and revise as required to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Participate in creating overall project schedule and oversee timely execution.
  • Assist with management of day‑to‑day operational aspects of the project.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Current undergraduate sophomore with a target graduation date between December 2026 and Spring 2028.
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related fields.
  • Strong passion for real estate development.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job‑specific knowledge.
  • Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Self‑starter, demonstrates a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year.
Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $25‑$30/ hr.
