UK curriculum high school (Cambridge International AS/AL & IGCSE) teaching through the medium of English to mainly Chinese students preparing for overseas universities.
We also run an AP stream since 2025, hence there are some opportunities for teachers interested in AP teaching in various subjects.

The Biology department is composed of 14 passionate, knowledgeable teachers and 4 dedicated technicians. There are 9 purpose-built Biology labs, including an advanced genetic engineering lab (this year SCIE students were Grand Prize Winners for the iGEM competition).
Teachers are assigned to a variety of year groups, from IGCSE level (UK years 10 and 11) to the Cambridge AS and A Levels (UK years 12 and 13), and AP Biology. The subject is highly popular, with approximately one third of the school cohort to choose Biology at the AS level. A significant number of students also pursue Biology-related subjects at prestigious universities globally, with many securing placements in Biology, Biochemistry, or Natural Sciences at Oxford, Cambridge and Ivy league universities.
For the academic year 2024-25, around 35 A2 Biology students applied for Oxbridge courses, and our teachers provided each with sustained expert support throughout their application process.
The department seeks dedicated a Biology teacher with significant experience across all year groups, who can bring enthusiasm, adaptability, and a commitment to hands-on practical work. Experience in preparing students to pre-university levels and facilitating extension tutorials in Biology, Biochemistry or Biomedical Sciences is advantageous.
