The Department of Surgery and Specialty Medicine at the Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine (Illinois
COM) is seeking a dynamic and experienced physician educator and leader to serve as founding faculty in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN). This part-time (0.60 FTE) position is open to candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor. Academic rank to be determined by The Chicago School & Illinois COM academic rank policy.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated educator, accomplished clinician, and innovative leader with expertise in OBGYN. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of the OBGYN curriculum, support faculty recruitment and development, and foster a collaborative, student-focused environment that aligns with the mission and values of the Illinois
COM and The Chicago School.

** PRINCIPAL DUTIES
** Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education.
** BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
** At least five (5) years of experience in medical education, residency training, or faculty leadership. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to collaborative, interprofessional education and the integration of osteopathic principles in training. At least five (5) years of clinical practice experience.
** IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
** Experience as a department chair, program director, or senior faculty leader in an accredited medical school or residency program. Established record of research and scholarly activity in primary care or medical education. Demonstrated commitment to health equity, diversity, and inclusion in clinical practice and medical education. $105,000 - $165,000 per year, commensurate with experience and academic rank.
