Senior Learning Manager, Alpha

Your role centers on ensuring our "3 Promises" become reality for every student in your assigned cohort while coaching Guides to deliver the same outcomes.

Piedmont, CA. Compensation is $200,000 annual salary with weekly pay. Full health, dental, and vision coverage begins on day one. Relocation assistance is provided to qualified candidates.

• Developing and training Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at a world‑class standard.
• Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, engaging learning activity design, and challenge resolution strategies.
• Delivering consistent, actionable feedback to Guides that elevates student engagement and performance.
• Personally coaching a small student cohort to demonstrate expert motivational and coaching techniques.

• Creating lesson plans – Guides support student learning through adaptive applications; your role centers on training them to become outstanding motivators.
• Compromising on standards – when our benchmark is 100% mastery, you will uphold that expectation.
• Running dull training sessions – you will develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential professional development.

Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort experiences genuine enthusiasm for school, achieves learning velocity at twice the standard rate, and develops essential life competencies. No exceptions.

• Currently residing in or prepared to relocate for in‑person work at an Alpha Campus (Bethesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA).
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or closely related fields.
• Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training systems.
• Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with experience building, managing, and inspiring high‑performing teams.
• Background working with young people (ages 5‑18) in educational or developmental settings.
• Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
