The new Center for Faculty Development at Loyola University Chicago will shape the future of support for faculty growth and success through an innovative, integrative approach grounded in the Jesuit value of Cura Personalis, or care for the whole person.
We are seeking a Director of Scholarship and Career Advancement to provide values-driven leadership aligned to the Center’s and University’s strategic priorities in creating the vision, goals, and plans to design and deliver evidence-based, innovative programs and initiatives for faculty across all disciplines and stages of professional growth. To achieve those aims, the Director will put into action Ignatian principles that guide faculty to elevate Loyola’s “reputation and external impact through research and engagement” University Strategic Plan, Pillar II.
A successful Director will be someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that aspires to ambitious goals and then achieves them through collaboration, reflection, and iteration.
If you meet the qualifications and are inspired by the prospect of joining colleagues to build a new Center for Faculty Development, we invite you to share your experiences and vision.
