Duties and Responsibilities- In conjunction with the Associate Director for Testing Operations, manage the day-to-day testing operations and accommodation for students with disabilities for the Student Accessibility Center, primarily focused on operations at the Lake Shore Campus and the Water Tower Campus, with occasional support at the Health Sciences Campus.
- Work with updating the case management technology platform for exam coordination (Symplicity Accommodate).
- Train, mentor, schedule, and direct the work of proctors, graduate student workers, and final exam staff volunteers.
- Coordinate final exam week logistics including room reservations, materials, communications to students, faculty, volunteers and Accommodate set-up.
- Receive and schedule exam, test, and quiz requests through Accommodate, maintaining security of tests and academic integrity of the testing operation.
- Work closely with Accessibility Specialists to ensure students receive proper accommodations during assessments.
- Review exam, test, or quiz requests for scheduling and administration purposes.
- Utilize Accommodate to secure tests and collect instructions for test administration or contact faculty when additional information is needed; confirm testing instructions, materials allowed, accommodations, and disposition of completed exams.
- Respond to faculty and staff inquiries regarding accommodated exams, tests, and quizzes.
- Assist students with assistive technology such as JAWS, Kurzweil, Dragon Naturally Speaking, etc. during exams.
- Document and collect statistical data and prepare detailed reports regarding exam, test, or quiz activity and administration.
- Earn certification to proctor specialized testing as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
- Participate in university-wide and in Student Academic Services signature programs, events, and activities, including but not limited to:
Orientation, New Student Convocation, finals week proctoring, Undergraduate Admission open houses, Commencement, and student celebrations. - Perform other duties as assigned.
Degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or related field and one to two years of related work experience required; combination of comparable work and education experiences may be considered.

- Must be self‑motivated with the ability to multi‑task and work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with faculty/staff and students with care and professionalism.
