WXAV Deputy Music Director - Student Employment

Summary

The Deputy Music Director works with the music director and WXAV music committee to develop a monthly A-List and specialty music A-List, listens to all new music to check lyrics and edit for compliance with FCC and WXAV rules and regulations.

• Assists with events, promotions, and giveaways and compiles the weekly NACC charts.
• Assists in maintaining both the physical and digital library and arranges interviews and concert tickets to hard rock and hip-hop acts.
• Evaluates various student broadcasts with other management members to ensure FCC rules and regulations are met, and offers feedback on DJs program.
• Assists in planning and promoting promotional events.
• Member of the Student Media Street Team.

• MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY.
• Must be Federal Work Study Eligible.
• Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter.
• Background in Communication preferred.
