Position Summary:

The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that meet academic standards and address the diverse needs of all students. The Teacher fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and lifelong learning skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
  • Assess student progress using formal and informal assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation in accordance with school policies.
  • Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and collaboration.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, needs, and achievements.
  • Integrate technology and other resources to enhance student engagement and learning.
  • Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators to promote student success.
  • Uphold all school policies, state regulations, and professional ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Valid state teaching license or certification in relevant subject/grade level.
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in [specific grade/subject].
  • Training in differentiated instruction and evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms.
Working Conditions
