Job SummaryAdjunct Instructor for Spring Semester 2026. Various nursing courses, days and times to be determined. Please include any applicable nursing certifications with your application. Review of applications will begin immediately.
Essential Functions- Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
- Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
- Fosters a safe and civil learning environment.
- Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
- Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- 3 years clinical work experience related to teaching assignment.
- BCLS certification.
- Iowa RN license or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
- Compliance with DMACC’s clinical partner requirements, including vaccination, safety protocols and health screenings.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (or current enrollment in a graduate Nursing program).
- Teaching experience.
