Main Campus
Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; and communicate with the department chair or administrator. Teach a variety of discipline courses at the community college level, including industrial/electronics/electromechanical technology, mechanical design, engineering technology, robotics, and CAD. Courses may be taught in lecture and laboratory environments. Duties may include various faculty responsibilities; it is preferred that the role serves as program coordinator.
Education/Experience- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology-related field. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field is preferred
- Minimum of one year (2000 hours) of professional experience in an Engineering or Engineering Technology field
- Post-secondary teaching experience
- FANUC Certification is preferred
In addition to the education and experience listed above, qualifications include working knowledge of electromechanical systems, electronic and programmable controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards for classroom instruction, apply innovative teaching pedagogies, and work with students at all skill levels. Teaching duties include preparing, instructing, and evaluating courses and pursuing continuous improvement in teaching methodology and student-centered learning.
