Overview

• Bachelor s degree in any discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching, or comparable roles
• Proven public speaking abilities, with demonstrated capacity to engage and energize young audiences
• Genuine interest in connecting with, inspiring, and motivating K-2 students
• Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
• Capability to participate in a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus

Alpha School is transforming traditional education by replacing conventional lectures and textbooks with AI-driven adaptive learning and peer mentorship. Students advance at their individual pace. Your role is to guide them in uncovering their unique strengths, not to deliver predetermined lesson plans.

This position is designed for high-performing individuals who want to direct that energy toward repairing a flawed education system. You will not spend time grading assignments or adhering to rigid curricula. Instead, you ll facilitate workshops, spark genuine curiosity, and demonstrate that when students take ownership of their learning, their potential becomes limitless.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
