- Lead a self-contained, cross-categorical classroom specifically for middle school students.
- Manage a focused caseload of 13 students, allowing for high-quality, individualized attention.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), utilizing formative and summative assessments to track progress and inform instructional adjustments.
- Partner with families, administrators, and service providers to communicate progress and ensure comprehensive support across school and home environments.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement (Required)
- Active Illinois Math Certification (Required)
- Prior experience planning and implementing engaging instruction within a self-contained, cross-categorical classroom setting, preferably at the middle school level
- Top Compensation:
Earn $45.20 - $49.60 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Special Education Teacher, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives. - Generous Benefits:
