Your role is to ensure our "3 Promises" are realized for every student you oversee and to develop our Guides so they deliver the same outcomes.
You will combine exceptional coaching expertise with dynamic facilitator presence, converting workshops, data-informed rally sessions, and precise feedback into powerful developmental experiences. If you have broken performance benchmarks, transformed struggling performers into achievers, or simply reject mediocrity, we want you creating excellence alongside us.
What You Will Be Doing- Coaching and advancing Guides to execute Alpha's workshops at a world-class standard
- Developing Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning experiences, and approaches to common obstacles
- Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that elevates student participation and outcomes
- Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating expert mentorship and motivational techniques
- Creating lesson plans – Guides support student learning via adaptive apps; you concentrate on equipping them to be outstanding motivators
- Compromising standards – when our success threshold is 100%, your role is to uphold that expectation
- Running dull training sessions – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, interactive, high-impact learning experiences
Key Responsibilities
Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort loves school, achieves learning at 2× speed, and gains mastery of life skills. No exceptions.
Basic Requirements- Currently located in or prepared to relocate for in-person work at one of the Alpha Campuses (Bethesda, MD;
Boston, MA;
Chicago, IL;
Fort Lauderdale, FL;
Seattle, WA; or CA:
East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles) - Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related area
- Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams
- Background working with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
- Skilled in data analysis and applying metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. For more details, consult
