Job Summary:
Adjunct Instructor for Spring Semester 2026. Teach various Nursing courses, days and times to be determined. Please include any applicable nursing certifications with your application.
- Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
- Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
- Fosters a safe and civil learning environment.
- Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
- Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- 3 years clinical work experience related to teaching assignment.
- BCLS certification.
- Iowa RN license or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
- Compliance with contractual obligations of clinical partners, including vaccination, safety protocols, and health screenings.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (or current enrollment in a graduate Nursing program).
- Teaching experience.
