Adjunct Instructor for Spring Semester 2026.

Various Nursing Simulation courses, days and times to be determined.

• Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
• Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
• Fosters a safe and civil learning environment.
• Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
• Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• 3 years clinical work experience related to teaching assignment.
• BCLS certification.
• Iowa RN license or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
• Applicants must be able and willing to comply with requirements set forth by DMACC’s clinical partners, including vaccination requirements, safety protocols, and health screenings.

• Master’s degree in Nursing (or current enrollment in a graduate Nursing program).
• Healthcare simulation based teaching experience.
