STEM and Robotics After School Instructor

We are seeking enthusiastic, confident, and energetic individuals to lead our after-school robotics classes in Chicago. Ideal candidates will reside in Chicago. Instructors must be available to teach at least once a week during the school year, with increased availability for our summer camps starting in 2025.

Robo Think is a global STEM edutainment company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. We introduce children in grades K-8 to robotics through our patented robot blocks. Our programs foster creativity and innovation, nurturing young minds across multiple states in the U.S. and in over 25 countries. We collaborate with local schools, park districts, and libraries to offer engaging after-school enrichment classes for students aged 6-14.

• Must be able to pass all criminal and child clearances.
• Knowledge of robotics or coding is not required.
• A strong passion for educating children in grades K-8.
• Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at various class locations.
• Ability to transport robotic kits securely to and from classes.
• Experience supervising classes in a dynamic and friendly environment, adhering to the Robo Think curriculum.

• Friendly and energetic personality, with the patience to engage with children of varying ages.
• A genuine passion for teaching and education.
• Prior experience in a learning environment with children is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Comprehensive paid training will be provided to the selected candidates, with no prior STEM or robotics experience required.
