Position OverviewThe School Director will provide day‑to‑day operational and instructional leadership for early learning centers serving children from birth to five years of age. This role oversees the delivery of comprehensive, high‑quality early childhood programming while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. As the organization continues to scale, the School Director will play a key leadership role in guiding program growth and supporting an upcoming transition into a new, purpose‑built facility.

- Supervise and support site‑level leadership and program staff, fostering accountability and collaboration
- Lead program planning, monitoring, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Support organizational growth efforts, including preparation for a future facility transition
- Proven leadership experience within early childhood education programs utilizing the Head Start model
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop large, diverse teams in complex environments
- Experience overseeing multifaceted programs with multiple funding streams and regulatory oversight
- Strong operational, organizational, and problem‑solving skills in evolving or growth‑stage settings
- Commitment to equity‑centered practices and delivering high‑quality services to children and families
