What You Will Do:- Teach & Build: Lead a 90- inute workshop where you relate STEM concepts to everyday life (like how a bicycle gear works) and guide students as they build motorized models.
- Manage the Room: Use strong classroom management skills to create a fun, safe, and structured learning environment. You will often work with a classroom assistant to help with the students.
- Capture Memories: Take short photos or videos of the students' completed models to share with parents.
- Logistics: Pick up the classroom materials (3 medium carrying cases with portable dolly cart) from our central storage in 60622 before class, transport them to the school, and return them to the storage unit after class.
- Term- ased: Unlike a one- ff gig, this role requires consistency. You must be able to commit to the same weekly shift for the duration of the school term (8–12 weeks).

After School: Monday–Friday between 3:00 and 6:00 . - Weekends: Saturday/Sunday shifts available between 10:00 and 4:00 .
- You can choose to work just 1 shift a week or up to 5+ shifts a week depending on your availability.
- Training: We provide comprehensive paid training (approx. 4–5 hours) to get you certified in our curriculum.
- Reliable Vehicle: You must have a car with a standard trunk/backseat to transport the class materials. (
Note:
Public transit, bikes, or motorcycles are not feasible for transport). - Experience: Previous experience working with groups of children (ages –12) in a classroom, camp, or coaching setting is required.
- Skills: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to keep students on task.
- Availability: Must be available during the class windows listed above.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check to work in schools.
- $50 Flat Rate per Class: This rate covers the class time, setup/breakdown, and kit pickup/drop- ff.
