Senior Instructional Coach, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

Base pay range: $100.00/hr – $100.00/hr ($200,000 annually). Position is onsite in one of the following campuses:
Bethesda, MD;
Boston, MA;
Chicago, IL;
Fort Lauderdale, FL;
Seattle, WA;
East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles.

• Equip and coach Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at a world‑class standard.
• Develop Guide Playbooks documenting facilitation best practices and strategies for engaging learning experiences.
• Deliver consistent, practical feedback to Guides to elevate student participation and academic outcomes.
• Serve as a direct mentor to a focused student cohort, demonstrating advanced coaching and motivational techniques.

• Creating lesson plans – Guides support student learning via adaptive applications; you concentrate on preparing them to be outstanding motivators.
• Accepting lower expectations – your benchmark is 100% and you uphold that standard.
• Running unengaging training sessions – your guide development will be interactive, energetic, and hands‑on.

• Must reside or be willing to relocate to one of the Alpha campuses listed.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record creating and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
• Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and energize high‑performing teams.
• Background working with young people (ages 5‑18) in educational or developmental settings.
• Skilled in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
