DI is seeking to hire a Training Expert to facilitate training in leadership, management, and performance frameworks for the heads of partner institutions in Lesotho’s justice and governance sectors. The consultant will design training modules, deliver interactive sessions, and provide strategic recommendations to strengthen institutional leadership and oversight capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Review project documents and relevant legislation, including the Training and Equipment Needs Assessment Report.
  • Develop training modules and manuals on leadership, management, and setting performance frameworks.
  • Design and coordinate a tailored training program in collaboration with the Programme Coordination Unit (PCU) and the Ministry of Law and Justice.
  • Facilitate an in-person training workshop for the heads of partner institutions.
  • Gather and evaluate participant feedback on the training’s effectiveness and relevance.
  • Submit a comprehensive training report and PowerPoint presentation summarizing outcomes and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Public Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 8 years of post-qualification professional experience.
  • (Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.)
  • Minimum 8 years’ professional experience in public administration, management, or human resources management at a strategic level.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in capacity building for public sector institutions, including oversight bodies.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering leadership and management development programs.
  • Proven track record in public sector reform and institutional management.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred
  • Experience mentoring or coaching senior managers in the public sector.
  • Experience in problem-solving, conflict resolution, or dispute resolution.
  • Familiarity with justice and oversight institutions, particularly in Southern Africa.
