Competitive Compensation & Comprehensive BenefitsSalary: $55,000‑$75,000 per year based on experience.

Enjoy a balanced schedule with Monday‑Friday work hours (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) and a shortened academic day during the summer, along with time off in July and August.
What You’ll Do Education- Plan and prepare lesson plans tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) and student needs.
- Teach and engage students using creative strategies that spark a love for learning.
- Manage the classroom environment, ensuring a supportive space for all students.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other school staff to provide comprehensive support for students.
- Write detailed reports and IEPs, reflecting insights into students’ progress and needs.
- Contribute to the school’s therapeutic environment, sharing ideas to enhance both the academic and emotional growth of students.
- Illinois Special Education License (LBS1) required.
- Academic background in elementary or secondary education (core content area) required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with students with Emotional Disabilities and/or Autism preferred.
- A commitment to strength‑based learning and empowering students to discover their unique learning styles.
