OverviewThe full time Programmatic Supervisor is responsible for leading the hands‑on execution of programmatic and direct‑buy campaigns across multiple platforms. This role will oversee strategy, processes, billing, and the operational aspects of media implementation managed by the programmatic buying team members. They will also be responsible for providing ongoing optimization recommendations and collaborating with our media planning and analytics teams to meet or exceed client business objectives in the programmatic and digital direct channels.
This role is based in our Los Angeles, Dallas, or Chicago offices. We’re also open to considering strong candidates who may not be near one of these locations.
Responsibilities- Oversee the development of Programmatic and direct buy strategies, including leading innovative Display, Video, Connected TV, and Audio media proposals that meet client business goals and enhance campaign performance.
- Oversee the build, launch, and optimization of programmatic campaigns in DV360 and direct buy campaigns, including preferred deals, programmatic guaranteed, and private marketplace deals.
- Collaborate with department leads to develop, enhance, and refine Programmatic processes, capabilities, and deliverables.
- Lead strategy and reporting discussions with clients for managed channels.
- Build, maintain, and grow client and programmatic partner relationships.
- Oversee the workflow of junior team members to ensure client deliverables meet deadlines.
- Analyze data to provide optimization recommendations for implementation by junior team members.
In addition:
- Ability to manage campaign pacing and optimization as needed.
- Collaborate with analytics and media teams to create KPIs and measurement plans.
- Identify opportunities for integrating or collaborating in Programmatic, Media, Ad Ops, SEM, SEO, and Social Media.
- Other duties as assigned.
Lead the development and onboarding process for new hires and direct reports.
Qualifications- 6+ years of hands‑on experience with programmatic media buying.
- 1+ year of informal mentorship or leadership of programmatic media buyers.
- Advanced proficiency in DV360 (Display & Video 360).
