Continuing Education - Instructor

We invite you to join the Continuing Education Department at Truman College, City Colleges of Chicago, as a Part‑Time Instructor.

In this role you will teach students of all ages both in‑person and remotely, sharing real‑world experience and fostering an engaging learning environment.

• Develop curriculum and weekly lesson plans appropriate for age and experience.
• Deliver classes in‑person onsite and remotely.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and abilities.
• Inspire, motivate, and foster confidence in all students.
• Adhere to the City Colleges of Chicago code of ethics, board rules, policies, and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of teaching and/or training experience.
• Degree or certification in the preferred teaching area.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a diverse group of students and staff.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and foster confidence in all students.
