Overview
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions to support candidate selection, global outreach, and applicant population management as part of the Full-Time MBA Admissions team.
Responsibilities- Contribute as a member of the Admissions Committee, including hosting recruitment events and information sessions worldwide and virtually; conduct candidate evaluation; and participate in programmatic yield activities.
- Participate in all aspects of the Full-Time MBA and deferred admission pathway recruitment, selection, and yield processes; serve as a resource and point of contact for interested students.
- Collaborate on candidate selection and the application reading process.
- Support the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions with managing specific applicant populations, including Full-Time MBA candidates pursuing joint degrees and incoming students during the pre-matriculation period.
- Assist in the execution of the annual yield strategy plan and calendar; ensure communications, website, events, and outreach meet the needs of admitted and incoming student pools.
- Support specialized outreach efforts for pipeline partnerships with new and existing organizations.
- Perform additional duties and projects to support the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions as assigned.
Reports to:
Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions
- A minimum of two years of work experience in a professional environment required; experience in higher education and admissions preferred.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills required.
- Professional demeanor including tact, discretion, and a customer-service oriented approach required.
- Proven time-management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively as a team member.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivation, and capacity to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective changes while achieving key objectives.
- Occasional domestic and international recruitment travel may be required.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Technolutions Slate as an application management system preferred.

Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
