The facility is a Certified Stroke Center by the Joint Commission, with emergency department-approved pediatrics by the state.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide direct patient care in a remodeled emergency department
• Manage a diverse caseload, including adult and pediatric emergency cases
• Respond to acute stroke cases in a Certified Stroke Center setting
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants for integrated patient care
• Utilize new telemetry monitoring systems for patient management
• Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and standards of care

Additional Information

• Must hold current board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Active Illinois license required
• Experience with high-volume emergency departments preferred
