The Department of Pediatrics and the Section of Pediatric Clinical Genetics at Rush University Medical Center invites applications for the position of Clinical Pediatric Geneticist
.
The Section provides clinical genetics services at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and outreach clinics at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. Qualified candidates must have completed an approved clinical genetics fellowship program and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric/Clinical Genetics and/or Metabolic Genetics by the American College of Medical Genetics. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to outreach clinics as needed.
Responsibilities include participation in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric genetics services, direct patient care, and supervision of medical students and residents. A strong commitment to patient care, education, and clinical medicine is essential. The successful candidate will join one other experienced pediatric geneticist in a team that includes three pediatric genetic counselors and a genetic counseling assistant, among other colleagues.

Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
- Eligible to be licensed to practice Medicine in the state of Illinois required
