Rush University Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist with expertise in pediatric epilepsy to join its Division of Pediatric Neurology. The role includes clinical care, teaching, and potential research involvement.
ResponsibilitiesClinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient care at main campus and regional sites. Specific activities may involve intraoperative neuro‑physiologic monitoring, mapping of cortical function, bedside long‑term EEG monitoring, routine EEG and video EEG monitoring, and general neurology inpatient rounding.
Assist in the teaching program for medical students, pediatric residents, and neurology residents at Rush.
Consider opportunities for involvement in ongoing research projects in neurogenetics and related areas.
Qualifications- MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent.
- Board certified or board eligible in Epilepsy or Neurophysiology.
- Completed fellowship training in pediatric neurophysiology/epilepsy.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
- Experience or interest in epilepsy surgery preferred.
- Eligibility for a faculty appointment as assistant professor or level commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
Pay Range: $224,000 - $310,000
Competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, incentive programs, and possible sign‑on and retention bonuses. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.
