Overview

Staff Psychiatry Position at Hartgrove Hospital, a premier Illinois hospital and flagship UHS Hospital, part of a two-hospital system in downtown Chicago. Hartgrove is expanding to 208 beds and is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible general psychiatrist for In-Patient General Psychiatry services.

• Provide in-patient General Psychiatry services in an in-patient setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• No weekend rounding; rotate call with the group Monday through Friday (1:8).

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System includes a 160-bed acute care facility offering inpatient and outpatient programs for children (as young as
3) through older adults, with multiple inpatient programs and a wide continuum of care including Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, traditional outpatient clinics, school-based services, and telehealth services. The facility has recognized certifications and awards from The Joint Commission, and partnerships with medical and nursing schools for teaching opportunities.
