Physician – Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences – Pediatric Neuropsychologist – RUMC (Downtown)

- Conduct comprehensive, evidence-based neuropsychological evaluations for pediatric patients (ages 0‑21).
- Provide differential diagnosis and detailed written reports with clear, practical, individualized recommendations for intervention, school planning, and treatment.
- Consult and collaborate effectively with referring physicians, including pediatric neurologists, oncologists, psychiatrists, and surgeons, as well as with patient families and school personnel.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinics (e.g., Epilepsy, Concussion, Brain Tumor, Developmental Disabilities).
- Engage in teaching, training, and supervision of psychology interns, externs, and post‑doctoral fellows, contributing to RUMC’s commitment to academic excellence.
- Develop and pursue clinical research interests, quality improvement projects, and other scholarly activities.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or Counseling Psychology from an APA‑accredited program. - Completion of an APA‑accredited internship and a two‑year post‑doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology that meets Houston Conference guidelines.
- Board Certification or active pursuit of Board Certification (within two years of hire) by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Clinical Neuropsychology.
- Current or immediately eligible licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois.
- Demonstrated expertise in the assessment of diverse pediatric populations.
The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment at Rush University Medical Center, with rank commensurate with experience and academic background.
Compensation and BenefitsPay Range: $111,000 – $248,000. The total compensation includes base pay, incentive programs, and benefits. Comprehensive benefits, sign‑on and retention bonuses, and relocation allowances may also be applicable.
