Overview
PRN medical opportunity at a 125-bed facility in Springfield, Illinois, offering shifts Monday to Thursday (5 pm - 8 am) and weekends (Friday 5:30 pm - Monday 8 am).
Facilities include a furnished call room with a refrigerator and microwave, with providers on-site throughout shifts.
Responsibilities- Evaluating admissions, conducting initial history and physical exams as needed
- Developing treatment plans and ordering labs
- Providing care to adult inpatients and documenting findings
- Managing employee work-related injuries and responding to emergencies
- Making referrals and reviewing restraint/seclusion orders
- Providing on-call coverage via the call room
- Responding to pages regarding restraints, falls, and emergencies
- Assisting with patient admissions and completing necessary assessments and orders
- Current Illinois license, Controlled Substance, and DEA certificates
- Recent negative Mantoux test or documentation
- Board eligibility/certification in specialty
Pay ranges from $1,100 to $1,125 per day with a flexible schedule, offering an in-person work environment.
