University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is looking for a BC/BE pediatric pulmonologist to join our growing service. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and includes a weekend‑only call rotation. Benefits are among the best in healthcare.
Duties & Responsibilities- Become an active part of our existing pulmonary team.
- Provide clinical, educational, and scholarly activities.
- Serve children with pulmonary conditions through diagnostic and treatment services.
- Contribute to the education of medical students and residents in pediatric pulmonology.
- Maintain a spirit of inquiry and scholarship within the pulmonology service.
- Rotate weekend pediatric pulmonary calls with APNs and physicians.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- 3 years of pediatric residency/3 years of pediatric pulmonology fellowship.
- Pediatric Sleep Medicine preferred.
- Clinical teaching experience.
