Overview

Hematology/Oncology Faculty Appointment in Chicago – Loyola Medicine. The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Loyola Medicine is seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist to build and lead a robust general medical oncology program, expand clinical and research activities, recruit high-caliber talent, and promote high-quality care. The role involves inpatient and outpatient care, participation in multidisciplinary translational clinical care research, and teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care.
• Lead and support patient service and excellence in the care-delivery model.
• Develop and expand clinical and research programs; lead recruitment efforts for high-caliber talent.
• Participate in multidisciplinary translational clinical care research and implement a robust menu of clinical treatment protocols.
• Teach fellows, residents, and medical students as assigned.
• Collaborate with the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology and contribute to building the regional community cancer practice.

• BE/BC (Board Eligible/Board Certified).
• Minimum education and/or work experience aligned with academic medical leadership and clinical practice in hematology/oncology.
