The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is currently recruiting a medical director/vice chair to oversee anesthesiology services are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medicine.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead and oversee anesthesiology services at Loyola.
- Direct a dynamic team of physicians, CRNAs, and anesthesiology residents.
- Supervise trainees from multiple disciplines and provide clinical teaching of LUC medical students.
- Innovate in anesthesiology and maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with other providers in complex orthopaedic, neurosurgical, obstetrical, urologic, surgical oncology, and trauma procedures.
- Board certified in Anesthesia.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois at the time of hire.
- Extensive clinical expertise and a strong background in leadership.
- Commitment to innovation in anesthesiology.
- Competitive starting compensation between $159,000 – $985,945 based on academic rank and experience.
