Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Aviation, Transit and Commercial Buildings team, of the Buildings Sector, based in Chicago, IL.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
* Prepare construction documents in coordination with multi-discipline project team of architects and engineers.
* Coordinate project requirements and development of construction documents with subconsultants.
* Meet with product vendors to review specific products to be incorporated into the projects.
* Perform code reviews and meet independently with local code officials to review and determine specific local code requirements and project compliance.
* Perform bid phase and construction phase tasks including site visits, review of shop drawings, responding to requests for information, and issuing clarifications.
* Lead the development of design alternatives using a variety of media, including computer visualization, and physical models. Work in coordination with and oversight of the Principal Architect
* Lead the development of presentation documents and make design presentations to Clients.
What your experience looks like
* Degree in architecture required from an Accredited University. Bachelor's Degree required,
* Must have 0-3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Must have demonstrated ability to use computer software for design.
* Must have detailed knowledge of all phases of architectural and engineering practice.
* Must be proficient in the production of contract documents including Technical Specifications.
* Must be proficient in production with Revit and Auto Cad
* Experience with Sketchup, Photoshop, 3D Studio, Rhino, V-Ray, and other imaging and rendering software.
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
