PROJECT ARCHITECT

Our esteemed client, a leading architecture & engineering firm, is currently seeking a Project Architect with 7-10+ years of experience in the development of architectural solutions for small to large scale commercial and institutional projects. This full‑time position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively as either a team leader or a team member in the development of design and documentation for both new construction and renovation projects.

Job Details:
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with client interactions/coordination, working and communicating with consultants, managing projects through construction completion and working both collaboratively and independently. The ideal candidate should possess strong design and planning skills, have a thorough understanding of construction documents, be knowledgeable of State of Illinois Building Codes and have experience with the design of projects within existing buildings.

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Registered in the State of Illinois.
• Minimum 7-10 years of professional architecture experience, including design, documentation and construction administration experience.
• Working knowledge of state and local building codes and accessibility requirements.
• Extensive skills in the use of AutoCAD is required, experience with Revit is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Highly professional demeanor.
• Excellent graphic skills.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, including fluency in the English language.
• Available for occasional travel for out-of-state projects.
• Candidates must have U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.

SALARY: $80-120K
