Project Architect

We are seeking a new team member to take a leadership role in a variety of projects in all phases: design, production, coordination, detailing, presentations, and renderings. We are a small award-winning office that prizes creativity, attention to detail and congeniality. Our projects are all over the country, and include: residential, institutional (synagogues and schools), and small commerical architecture, as well as exhibition design for major museums.

5 years architectural experience minimum working in an American architecture office

We require multi-tasking professionals who are comfortable working on a variety of projects and scales simultaneously.
Applicants must have excellent AutoCAD, Sketchup, and rendering skills, as well as competence in Adobe Creative Suite.

BA, BArch, or MArch required.

We will only consider applicants with 5 or more years of architectural experience, including the creation and coordination of complete construction documents and construction administration.

Excellent spoken and written English is required, and candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

The position is full-time, on-site in our Chicago studio.

• Design, drafting, and detailing for projects ranging from custom furniture to exhibition design and institutional buildings.
• Leading and managing architectural projects from initial design concepts through construction administration, including zoning and code analysis, site visits, and RFI reviews
• Working collaboratively with project teams, including outside consultants
• Mentoring junior architects and interns.
• Communicating with clients

Salary commensurate with experience, $70,000-$90,000 range
