Salary: $85,000 - $110,000

This is an Architectural Project Management role. Individuals with IT Project Management experience would not be considered for this position. Our client an architectural design and planning organization is looking to hire a Technical Project Manager to join their team in Downtown Chicago.

• Senior Technical Architectural Project Manager with 10+ years experience in architecture.
• Project management experience – manage time and expectations for self and team members.
• Clear communication and coordination with internal and external team members.
• Professional presentation, positively representing the firm to clients and contractors.
• Ability to review drawings and specifications meticulously for accuracy and quality.
• Provide hands‑on detailing support and participation to meet project deadlines when required.
• Desire to learn and tutor junior staff.
• Keep current with industry trends, adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of and experience applying building science to design and detailing.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with building codes including energy codes.
• Experience with permitting.
• Experience with COMCheck.
• Command of life safety and ADA compliance.
• Ability to travel to sites requiring overnight stay.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
• Revit experience.
