Erie Family Health Centers, a nationally recognized top workplace with 13 sites in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Oral Health Department! The dental hygienist performs oral hygiene procedures, acts as an oral health educator, and supports the dentist.

Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and education. Candidates meeting the minimum requirements will start at the entry level within the range, with additional skills and experience reflected in the offered salary.
MainDuties & Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, therapeutic, and educational methods to control oral disease, helping patients attain optimal oral health per state guidelines.
- Gather and review patient records to assist the dentist with diagnosis and treatment, including medical/dental histories, x-rays, and oral inspections.
- Maintain sterilization and cleanliness of dental instruments, trays, and equipment.
- Conduct in-reach and out-reach as an oral health educator.
- Work with the dental team to meet HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Active Dental Hygienist License and RDH certification required.
Required:
- Current CPR Certification
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to operate all dental equipment and instruments
- Ability to sit, stand, speak, write, and type
Preferred:
- One year of experience preferred.
