Guest Services Ambassador (GSA)
Seasonal | Part-Time | Hourly Pay
Salary Range: $18 to $20/hour

Position Summary:

The Guest Services Ambassador (GSA) is a frontline ambassador for Chicago Stars FC, responsible for delivering exceptional, welcoming, and memorable experiences for all fans, guests, and partners. GSAs play a critical role on matchdays and at select non-matchday events by providing outstanding customer service, supporting accessibility needs, and helping create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable stadium environment.

Key Responsibilities

Matchday:

• Welcome and assist fans at stadium entry points
• Provide clear directions, information, and support throughout the venue
• Assist guests with ADA and accessibility needs
• Monitor seating areas and concourses to ensure a positive guest experience
• Support Kids Club activities and fan engagement activations
• Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for guests
• Assist with issue resolution and escalate concerns as needed
• Check-in and registration desk duties
• Support with other matchday responsibilities as needed

Non-Matchday:

• Represent Chicago Stars FC at off-site events, festivals, and community activations
• Engage with current and potential fans in a professional and enthusiastic manner
• Support additional club events as assigned and available

Qualifications & Skills

• Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for hospitality, fan experience, and sports
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Availability & Physical Requirements

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and matchdays is required
• Ability to stand, walk or be engaged for extended periods of time - accommodations available as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Training & Support - must attend both

• One Virtual onboarding session
• One-day, in-person training

No prior experience required - all training provided

Established in 2007, the Chicago Stars were a founding member of the former Women's Professional Soccer and later became one of the original eight teams to form the National Women's Soccer League in 2013. They are the longest continuously operating professional women's soccer team in the United States.
