GIA Publications, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual (English and Spanish) Customer Service Representative to work in our Bedford Park, Illinois Office
. This on‑site, in‑person position assists customers of our sacred music, music education, and music distribution divisions with inquiries and orders placed by phone, website(s), mail, and email.
- High School diploma/GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2‑3 years of customer service or related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Spanish.
- Strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with data entry and with Microsoft® Office software.
- The ability to learn new programs and systems quickly.
- Reliability.
- Familiarity with musical, Roman Catholic, and/or liturgical terminology is a plus.
- Answer customer inquiries about products, orders, subscriptions, shipping, and billing across GIA’s publishing and distribution divisions.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Provide feedback and assistance for the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Assist with customer inquiries about hymnals and missals and subscription renewal campaigns.
- Provide basic support to customers with inquiries about the functionality of GIA website(s).
- Update mailing lists and assist with data entry related to customers and products.
- Filing, copying, mail processing, and other various office duties as needed.
