Position Overview

The Digital Programs Manager, Creative & Brand owns the strategy, quality, and delivery of marketplace-facing visual communications across the firm. The manager oversees a small in-house team of designers, videographers, and presentation support staff, as well as a roster of freelance and contract partners.

This role serves as the primary intake and consulting point for a broad range of internal stakeholders, including Client Development, Communications, Events, Marketing Technology, as well as practice group leaders and individual lawyers engaging Creative Services for business development work. The role balances hands-on creative direction with operational leadership, ensuring work is on brand, on time, and aligned to firm priorities.

ESSENTIAL

JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary creative team, managing capacity, priorities, and performance across competing deadlines and multiple offices.
  • Provide creative direction, coaching, and feedback to strengthen craft, consistency, and stakeholder partnership across all deliverables.
  • Act as the firm’s visual brand guardian, ensuring consistency across print, digital, and motion content.
  • Translate abstract goals into strong creative concepts, clear briefs, and practical production plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Creative Services requests and manage the team s end-to-end workflow, from intake and prioritization through to status reporting and retrospectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end production for print and digital deliverables, including pitch and presentation decks, proofing, file preparation, version control, and handoff packages, with the ability to customize pieces for client-specific requirements such as timelines, diagrams, charts, and custom visual treatments.
  • Maintain and evolve brand tools, templates, and guidelines for internal teams and frequent contributors.
  • Video and Photography Program:
    Manage and innovate the firm’s marketing video/photography output; oversee all aspects from initial scope and production needs, equipment purchases, vendor management, location shoots, individual shoots, edits, and delivery / distribution of video and photo content.
  • Bespoke Report Design and Data Visualization:
    Consult with and manage specific project teams to determine visual design preferences and expectations on major firm report projects.
  • Partner with Business Services to ensure routine Microsoft Office production work is appropriately routed, keeping Creative Services focused on brand and high-impact creative work.
  • Practice Hygiene:
    Manage the design, catalog, and distribution of practice specific collateral pieces e.g., practice brochures, pitch specific brochures and placemats.
  • Vendor Management:
    Maintain and manage relationships with external vendors relating to marketing efforts and materials e.g., photographers, contracted designers, videographers, printers, and firm-branded promotional merchandisers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUREMENTS
  • 7+ years of experience in creative services, brand design, or visual communications, with at least 2 years in a people management or function-level leadership role.
