Senior Copywriter

Title: Senior Copywriter

Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid 1-2 days/week on-site)

Duration: Through the end of the year, possibility of extension or conversion

• Strategic Writing: Develop clear customer communications, including instructional content and informative updates, to maintain trust during transitions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with designers, strategists, and marketing leads to ensure messaging is aligned and effective.

• Simplification: Translate complex technical or process-heavy information into simple, accessible language for a general audience.

• Adaptability: Navigate changing strategies and timelines while applying creative writing skills within established templates and systems.

• Project Ownership: Manage timelines and navigate internal processes to drive projects toward completion.

• Brand Alignment: Apply brand voice and editorial standards consistently across multiple communication sources.

• Quality & Precision: Deliver high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.

• Stakeholder Communication: Present work and provide clear rationale for creative decisions to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of professional copywriting/creative writing experience.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex information and drive customer clarity.
