Dentsu Summer Program – Internships in Art Direction

Job Description

The dentsu Summer Experience Program is an immersive, 10-week program designed to prepare emerging professionals to contribute meaningfully to our work.

You will report to the manager on your respective team.

• Paid, full-time internship running from June 1 through August 7, 2026.
• Applications accepted until 4:00 pm Eastern on March 16, 2026.
• Join our teams in New York or Chicago office 3 days per week.

• Collaborate with our Creative teams to develop conceptual ideas within the Performance Creative team.
• Present well thought out creative concepts to our Creative leads.
• Ideate and art direct against deliverables, including developing campaigns, comps, story boards and mockups.
• Work shoots with photographers and videographers (virtual).
• Receive and apply constructive feedback, push past your comfort zone and strive for creative excellence.
• Be proficient in Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
• Partner with a Mentor to set and achieve development goals.

• U.S.
  
  -based candidates graduating from an undergraduate or graduate program in 2027.
• No prior professional experience is required to apply. This role is intended as an entry point into the industry, and we will develop your skills and experience along the way; however, a portfolio of work is required.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H‑1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices—currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City—are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles).

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
