Barstool Sports is seeking a Post-Production Intern to join our Production team for the summer. This role is ideal for a highly creative, hard-working individual with a strong understanding of the Barstool brand
. You’ll gain hands‑on experience editing a variety of content, from podcasts, social clips, behind‑the‑scenes footage cutdowns, one‑off content, etc. This internship runs from May 26 to August 28 and is based 100% in our Chicago office
.
- Assist in video editing, color grading, and sound mixing for a range of Barstool projects and brands.
- Support social video clipping output
, ensuring engaging and high‑quality content for multiple platforms. - Help organize and maintain media, project files and backups
, ensuring a smooth post‑production workflow. - Learn and develop skills within Adobe Premiere Pro and other industry‑standard editing software.
- Gain hands‑on experience with the post‑production workflow
, contributing to various tasks and projects as needed.
- A strong understanding of social media, sports, pop culture, and current events.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro. - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A passion for video editing and storytelling.
- Long form and short form editing experience is a bonus
- Experience creating social clips and using captioning
- A good idea of You Tube content as well as an ability to recreate into a social format
- A portfolio available for review
Pay Rate
: $16.60/hr
