, a division of Nekia Nichelle, LLC, is a luxury lifestyle and entertainment digital publication spotlighting Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.

While we’re known for our celebrity interviews and pop culture coverage, our lifestyle pillar is where intention meets influence — covering wellness rituals, curated food and drink experiences, cultural happenings, creative entrepreneurs, art, travel moments, and modern living.

We create content that elevates everyday life.

And we’re expanding this vertical intentionally.

We are seeking passionate lifestyle writers who genuinely care about:

• Health + Wellness (mental health, fitness, beauty routines, self-care, holistic living)
• Art + Culture (local exhibits, creators, community movements, cultural conversations)
• Food + Drink (restaurant features, curated dining experiences, cocktail culture, culinary trends)

If you love discovering new wellness spaces, attending gallery openings, trying new restaurants, or writing about intentional living — this role is for you.

We are not currently seeking additional pop culture writers.

We need lifestyle storytellers.

This is a 6-month unpaid remote internship designed for academic credit and serious portfolio/personal development.

Writers are expected to produce:

2 high-quality lifestyle articles per week within an assigned vertical.

Writers will:

• Pitch timely and trend-forward lifestyle ideas.
• Research and develop compelling, well-sourced articles.
• Conduct interviews when applicable.
• Contribute to building out our Lifestyle authority pillar.

All pieces are reviewed by our Copy and Publishing Editors prior to publication.

This is not a “rewrite what’s trending” role.

We are building thoughtful, elevated lifestyle content that aligns with a luxury digital publication.

• Pitch original lifestyle-focused article ideas weekly.
• Write 2 engaging, well-researched articles per week.
• Conduct interviews with local business owners, creatives, chefs, wellness experts, or founders when applicable.
• Stay ahead of wellness, culture, and culinary trends.
• Maintain alignment with Just N Life’s editorial tone and formatting standards.
• Meet deadlines consistently and communicate proactively.
• Occasionally attend local Chicago events (preferred but not required).

• Strong writing and storytelling ability.
• Passion for lifestyle topics — not just celebrity news.
• Ability to research thoroughly and cite credible sources.
• Comfort conducting interviews via email or phone.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and self-managed.
• Open to editorial feedback and revisions.
• Available to commit to the full 6-month term.
• Attendance at mandatory weekly Monday editorial meetings.
• Consistent responsiveness in communication channels.

Preference will be given to candidates in the Chicago area who can contribute local lifestyle coverage.

High-performing writers may be considered for:

• Featured bylines
• Expanded vertical ownership (Wellness Lead, Culture Contributor, etc.)
• Paid freelance opportunities
• Cross-collaboration with The N Brand on lifestyle campaigns

We are building long-term contributors — not short-term content fillers.

• Published articles in a luxury digital publication.
• Real editorial feedback and mentorship.
• Interview experience.
• SEO and digital formatting skills.
• A refined, lifestyle-focused writing portfolio.

• Attendance at weekly mandatory Monday editorial meeting at 3PM CST.
• 2 themed lifestyle articles per week.
• Occasional availability for industry or company events (1–2 times per month).
• Professional, timely communication.
