Overview

The Leo Chicago Internship Program, recognized by Business Insider as one of the top 20 programs in the country, is designed to give bright, curious individuals the best, most realistic internship experience in the advertising industry. Our interns are embraced as contributing employees of the agency and are expected to deliver on the big campaignable Humankind ideas that the agency is known for worldwide.

  • Intern Pitch Project – Experience the full life cycle of an agency pitch, and get hands‑on skills in collaboration, problem solving, presentation skills, and work process.

Responsibilities

The Leo Chicago Creative internship is a hands‑on immersive experience within our creative department. A nimble group of emerging advertising students/graduates will be selected to work on real projects for real brands with real creative directors.

This 10‑week interview is geared towards identifying and test‑driving the best entry‑level talent in the business. Interested Art Directors, Copywriters, and Designers apply here.

Qualifications

This paid 10‑week program runs June 1 - August 7 and is available to incoming college seniors and recent graduates. Applications will be accepted online through April 3, 2026 and we will notify selected candidates in late April/May.

Applicants must submit a link to their online creative portfolio in order to apply. This is a hybrid internship that requires 3 days per week on‑site in our Chicago office for the duration of the program.

Compensation Range: $20/hr this is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and paid time off.
